Health Data Analysis

This project analyzes data from 100 adults to explore relationships between mental health, physical health, BMI, gender, and exercise habits using descriptive statistics and statistical testing to uncover patterns and associations among key health indicators.​

The primary aim of this analysis is to apply descriptive and inferential statistical methods to address the following research questions:

  1. Is there a difference in Mental Health Score between males and females?

  2. Is there a difference in Physical Health Score across different BMI groups (Underweight, Normal, Overweight, Obese)?

  3. Is there a relationship between Mental Health and Physical Health scores?

  4. Is there an association between Regular Exercise and Gender?

Each question was addressed using appropriate statistical techniques, supported by visualisations, summary tables and interpretation.

Analysing NYC Green Taxi Data

In this project, I analyzed the NYC Green taxi dataset for September 2015. The analysis involved data cleaning, transformation, aggregation, and summarization, followed by data visualization.

Analysis of Nigeria's Food Trade (1995-2023)

This is an exploratory data analysis (EDA) of Nigeria's food import and export trends from 1995 to 2023. The project uses data from UNCTAD to analyse the monetary value of Nigeria's food trade.

The objective is to understand the structure of Nigeria's food trade by answering three main questions:

  1. What is the overall trend of food imports vs. exports?

  2. What are the primary food categories driving imports and exports?

  3. What is the processing level (e.g., Raw, Processed) of these key products?

Upwork Job Alert Analysis

This project analyses my personal Upwork job alerts, exported from my email. The goal was to move from an unstructured dataset (email bodies) to a structured one to uncover patterns in the job postings I receive.

The analysis answers practical questions for a freelancer:

  • What time of day are most jobs posted?

  • What is the busiest day of the week for new jobs?

  • What is the distribution of Hourly vs. Fixed-Price jobs?

  • What is the average pay rate for hourly and fixed contracts?

  • What experience level (Entry, Intermediate, Expert) is most in demand?

  • Where are most clients located?

  • What is the average client rating and total spend?
